Q: How long is a day in Farmville?
Farmville day is currently 23 hours long.Q: Why is my gift box empty when my friend said they sent me a gift?
You will need to check your facebook notifications and accept gift before it appears in your game gift box.
Q: How can I reset my game and start over?
At this time, you cannot start the game over.
Q: If I can’t restart the game and I deleted all of my crops how can I play?
Add friends to your neighborhood, click on their names in the neighborhood tab and you can do some basic tasks which will earn you xp and coins. Find enough friends and you will have some new crops in no time.
Q: What do animals do?
Currently they stand around looking schmart and stuff. Once you reach level 7, you can sell them for cash.
Q: When can I expand my farm?
While that is a feature that will be brought in as soon as possible, the developers are currently working on fixing any current bugs and problems first (over the next few weeks) before bringing new features into the game.
Q: Why can’t I sell animals and trees?
You will be able to sell your trees and animals when you reach level 7.
Q. How can I make money? I’m broke and can’t plow or plant anything.
There are several ways to make money.
– Add neighbours and help them on their farms for extra coins and experience as often as the game allows.
– Log onto FarmVille every day to get some extra coins from the daily lottery.
– Ask your neighbors to send you trees as gifts. After a few days you will be able to harvest them for extra coins.
Q: Can I delete plots that I’ve plowed if I don’t like where they are?
Yes. Click on the spade shovel in the bottom right corner to delete fields and objects.
Q: Is there a way to ‘permanently’ turn off the music and sounds?
No sorry. However, the developers do think this is a great idea for future features!
Q: How long after a crop is ready to harvest does it become withered?
The amount of time it takes to mature is the amount of time it takes to wither.
Q: Why am I only getting 5 coins and 1 experience point when visiting my neighbors? I used to get 20 coins and 5 points!
You will only receive 20 coins and 5 points for the first 20 neighbors you visit each day, then it will drop to 5 coins and 1 point for each visit after 20 visits.
Q: How do I find out how many experience points I need to get to go up to the next level?
If you hover over your experience bar (located in the upper middle area of your farm screen) with your mouse, it will show you what the experience points are for reaching the next level.
Q: Can I change the name of my farm?
Currently, we are all stuck with the default farm names that the game gives us. In the future, it may be possible to rename your farm.
Q: How many experience points should I get from each seed?
Plants that take less than 1 day to ripen will give you 1 point. Plants that take a day or more will give you 2pts.
Q: What do buildings do?
Besides making your farm look fabulous, they do give experinece points when purchased.
Q: Is there a save button?
A: No, there isn’t a save button for the farm itself, just for the avatar creation. However, the developers may add one after the currently known bugs and glitches are fixed.

too „adopt“ animals..
say a message comes up on your farm that says something like „a cow has came onto your farm.. help.. ignore…“ you press ignore than it says on your actuall facebook to your friends that you have a pet up for adoption.. then they can adopt it and when they do the process then you can adopt it

Sometimes when I move my mouse while clicked on an animal the animal shrinks. I’ve been able to keep it this way with ONE chicken. I can’t do this with any other animals. Did this make it a baby and how can I do that with some of my other animals?

I’m not getting money from the daily lottery or from my friends celebrations for winning awards. I’m also not collecting money or experience points from the rewards. I click „Accept“ when offered and it says that so much money and ex points will be awarded, but my tally does not go up. I am collecting money from all other FarmVille functions. What’s wrong?

Can anyone tell me what the little gold coins are that appear when you harvest or plough a plot?
This is very weird, tends to happen when harvesting a large field of the same crop. Or when ploughing the same area. The FV cash amount does not change and I don’t think the number of coins changes either. I can’t catch the coin, would be nice to know. Cheers in advance!

I can accept gifts from my request but when i go to my farm and press the gift box … nothing happens … i tried 3 computers ( windows , ubuntu , mac ) but is the same problem to 3 computers. i contacted zinga but their support is not good ….they gave me general answers like … clean your cache, that i had alreadydone … anyone can help me ?

melissa – i don’t know what the floating gold coin means either, but as far as i know, you can only get the other animals (horse, duck, rabbit, goat, etc) if someone gives it to you as a gift; dont’ think you can buy them.

Does a Farmville person answer these questions? I’ve had so many problems with receiving bonuses. Last night I got a blue ribbon and it didn’t publish so my neighbors couldn’t get it. I shared roses, it took the roses from my cart, but it didn’t publish so my neighbors couldn’t get them. My brother got a blue ribbon and im’d me to get it, but it never published. I did EVERYTHING on the help page — I’m using Mozilla, updated, reloaded, logged on through farmville.com, downloaded the toolbar, and I’m still having many many problems. Please, help — BTW I have the most current virus/security software (Norton Internet Security 2010) so it isn’t a bug.

I also want to know how to get farm cash other than buying it with real money… It’s frustrating that I want to buy a dairy farm, but I have to have a certain amount of neighbors or 20 farm cash…and its also very annoying that you can’t adopt animals you find, or hatch the mystery eggs you find in your own coop. could we petition to get that changed? I think that if we post it so our friends can adopt the animal or get the mystery egg we should get it too.

Where or where is my Farmville cash?
I bought a father’s day gift and in return the deal by Zygna was that you get 85 Farm-ville cash. It’s plain as day on my Farm-ville farm. So I did it. It said normally within minutes. It’s been two days and I emailed them 3 times, on the page that says „Check your status“ it says they are „process my request email“ in which I added my confirmation email and it shows evidence that I completed the offer, nice right?
However my worry is that I ordered the item under another email different from my facebook/farmville email. However, it is still showing that I completed the offer on farmville/facebook which is a different email. Would that affect anything?
I did include my farm-ville email when I emailed them. I just hope they figure it out.

Why does my green background go white after returning to my farm after sharing a bounty of fuel or anything for that matter to my neighbor’s page while harvesting crops while in full screen mode. I can’t access the farmville completely or sometimes even at all and this is a similar problem that I had before. I thought it was resolved but it came back. I don’t have a problem accessing other games either. Only farmville so I assume that your having a problem on that end. Please fix it.
